Associate General Counsel (Maintenance)
Protects Peoplelink's legal interest and maintaining its operations within the scope established by law. Provides hands-on counsel to all levels of executive staff and manages the operations of legal department. Oversees the preparation, examining, analyzing, negotiating, and revising contracts that involve the purchase or sale of goods or services such as equipment, materials, supplies, or products.
Position Responsibilities
Identifies and analyzes legal issues, drafts key documents, presents clear recommendations to top management, and assures legal compliance.
Approves policies developed within various sub-functions and departments
Oversee the preparation and revision of contracts that involve the purchase of sale of goods and services, including leases and customer contracts.
Oversee proposal planning and administration of contracts.
Manages the employees within the Contract Administrator role.
Negotiate terms and conditions.
Prepare contract briefs and revisions summarizing contractual requirements and budgets.
Track authorizations and correspondence.
Maintain detailed and organized files.
Prepare contract change notices, monitor contractor performance, including the reporting and status of contractor and owner deliverables.
Maintain an audit file for each contract which will include original contract, all correspondence, changes/deviations, amendments, clarifications, payment schedules.
Prepare and disseminate information to appropriate employees regarding contract status, facilitate contractor meetings.
Ensure that contractor is in compliance with legal requirements, owner specifications and government regulations.
Perform closing activities as needed.
Track payments and deadlines.
Analyze and mitigate risk.
Provide contract summaries and ensure contract execution in accordance with company policy.

Essential Skills and Functions
Proficient knowledge of legal requirement pertaining to relevant contracts.
Proficient with MS Office Suite of products

Position Qualifications - KSA (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
Bachelors degree in Business, mathematics, accounting or economics
1+ years of related experience
Physical Requirements and Work Environment
To successfully perform the duties of this job, the staff associate is required to have the ability and skills sufficient to visit other offices, prospects and clients. Requires good hand/eye coordination, arm/hand/ finger dexterity including the ability grasp and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate office equipment and read and write the application information. The staff associate is frequently required to sit, reach with hands and arms, talk and hear.
