SAP Power User - Fabrication (Finance)



What will you do?
  • Champion SAP deployment for the fabrication operations across multiple product lines.
  • Become the SAP (S4 Hana) subject matter expert for fabrication-related processes.
  • Collaborate closely with fabrication engineers, welders, machinists, and maintenance teams to map real-world processes into SAP.
  • Configure and test master data related to fabrication equipment, tooling, preventative maintenance plans, and spare parts.
  • Partner with quality engineers to implement inspection plans, scrap tracking, and warranty workflows tailored to fabricated components.
  • Translate current fabrication shop practices into efficient SAP processes.
  • Develop and deliver training materials for fabrication and maintenance personnel to ensure confident SAP usage.
  • Troubleshoot SAP issues on the shop floor and coordinate with the technical team for resolution.
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying enhancement opportunities and working with the SAP team to implement them.
  • Collaborate with SAP power users across domains to streamline and standardize fabrication-related processes.
  • Share best practices and lessons learned with other manufacturing sites preparing for SAP deployment.

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field is required.
  • 3+ years of experience in manufacturing operations.
  • Proficient analyzing, manipulating, and translating large data sets (especially MS Excel and SQL).
  • Prior SAP experience - preferred but not required.
  • Experience defining processes and creating flowcharts.
