Materials Coordinator (Finance)

This Materials Coordinator position will be for 3rd shift, 11pm to 7am.

PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Receives and checks incoming supplies against packing slips and purchase orders for proper shipment, shortages, damage in transit, etc. Notifies the Supervisor of shortages or incorrect materials received.
  • Place material in proper bins, racks, etc. or communicate receipt of material to appropriate individuals.
  • Distributes materials and supplies. Schedule Principal Supply receipts as directed by the Material Manager. Input timely data entry of material receipts, withdrawals, and the inventory activity.
  • Controls stockroom inventory by performing periodic cycle counts.
  • Operates mechanical equipment as required for unloading, loading, moving or storing materials.
  • Prepares and maintains various computerized financial, purchasing, inventory and storeroom reports, records, etc. as required.
  • Expedite deliveries of materials and equipment by contacting vendor.
  • Regular and predictable on-site attendance and the ability to work overtime based on business needs is essential
  • Daily non-RFID check list
  • Majority of bin checks (1st 30 day, any zpir and then others)
  • Make sure any receiving is finished and put away (including items in warehouse)
  • Run the sweeper in the main warehouse nightly
  • EOM PS count (work with Dave and Eric)
  • Help maintain storeroom cleanliness
  • Keep main warehouse organized (items out away if needed)
  • End of shift withdrawals
  • Learn some other roles gradually (EOM, FED EX shipping, later on scrap)
  • Daily Non RFID Count
  • Shipment of FedEx as needed
  • Prepare to ship repair item pallets with repair tags that include TR number
  • GR Emails
  • Responsible for the M1 and M2 area ( keeping the motors organized)
  • Learn scanning process
  • Check emails for anything that needs done
  • Since we are busier now, need to check conveyor parts and true up each week ( especially after a maintenance weekend)
  • Tag issues with Principle (must be done right after EOM)
  • Walk the aisles looking for empty bins and verify that SAP shows those parts have 0 inventory
  • Process DP's
JOB KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
  • Must have high school education or equivalent. Three to twelve months of warehouse experience is desired. Specialized courses in inventory control/materials management or equivalent are preferred.
  • Must have knowledge of arithmetic, accuracy in checking, posting, counting, and be able to use office equipment and mobile equipment required.
  • Must display proficiency in computer applications (spreadsheets and word processing).
