Program Associate (Finance)
The Program Associate, Community Initiatives, provides essential coordination and administrative support for Methodist Healthcare Ministries' evolving community-focused strategies. Initially, this role will support the organization's Digital Equity efforts-helping manage logistics, contracts, and grants-but is structured to support future community initiatives as priorities shift over time. The Program Associate supports program operations, maintains accurate data systems, engages with partners, and assists with research and evaluation to inform strategic learning and program design.
Essential Duties:
Hourly rate begins at $26.67. Mid range at $33.34. Actual starting rate will be commensurate with experience and education.

Required Skills:
Associates Degree in business administration, public health or humanities/social services required; Bachelors degree in business administration, public health or humanities/social services preferred. Two years in an professional administrative role in nonprofit programming, community programs, or grant coordination experience required. Experience with data entry, document tracking, or administrative systems preferred.
Language Ability:
Ability to effectively build strong relationships and work with all levels within the organization. Ability to read and interpret documents and instructions. Ability to write reports, develop correspondence, and memos from draft, copy or dictation. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from the executive team, managers, team members, clients, and the general public. Fluent in English required; Spanish bilingual preferred.

Computer Skills:
Excellent with Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to demonstrate working knowledge of the Internet, Outlook, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat Pro, Word and Excel applications.
Travel:
Ability to travel up to 20% of the time to community partner sites, MHM clinic and program sites, convenings, and conferences, including overnight stays. Must work some evenings and weekends as job duties may require.
