Sound Engineer - Bayer YMCA (Maintenance)



Oversee the day-to-day operations of the music studio, including scheduling and booking recording sessions, setting up equipment, and ensuring that the studio is clean and organized.Ensure that all studio equipment is functioning properly, including microphones, mixing boards, speakers, and recording software.Work with youth participants to teach them the proper use of studio equipment and software, including microphone technique, mixing, and mastering.Provide technical assistance to youth participants during recording sessions, ensuring that their recordings are of a high quality.Keep accurate records of studio use, including recording session schedules, equipment usage, and maintenance and repair needs.Work with the youth teen center staff to develop and implement music programming and events, such as recording and performance opportunities for youth participants.Stay up-to-date with new recording technologies and software, and make recommendations for equipment upgrades as needed.Support planning and coordination of a program and its activities. Works with director to determine current needs for program. Ensure implementation of policies and procedures. Maintain budget and track expenditures/transactions. Manage communication through media relations, social media, etc Schedule and organize meetings/events and maintain agenda. Support growth and program development. Organizes and oversees program activities and events.Recruits and coordinates volunteers from the local community. Coordinates and monitors teen summer camps. Organizes, and conducts leaders clubs and other teen activities and events. Secures facilities for program activities and events.Perform other duties as assigned by the youth teen center management.
