POSITION SUMMARY:

The Department of Ophthalmology at the University of South Florida, Morsani College of Medicine is seeking a junior faculty member to join its research mission. This position will perform basic science and/or translational research in specialized areas such as keratoconjunctivitis sicca (dry eye). This position will also be responsible for teaching to include didactic and bench-side teaching of undergraduate and graduate students and postdoctoral fellows; presenting at departmental grand rounds and college seminars.MINIMUM:

Doctoral degree from an accredited institution or the highest degree appropriate in the field of specialization with a demonstrated record of achievement in teaching, academic research, and service. Must meet university criteria for appointment to the rank of Assistant Professor.
