The Patient Accounting Representative is responsible for reading contracts and interpreting how claims are paid. Identify and review underpayments and file appeals and follow up to obtain full expected reimbursement.Minimum Required: High School Diploma or GED. Preferred: Associate's Degree. | LICENSE & CERTIFICATION: N/A. | Minimum Required: 3 - 5 years of relevant experience in Revenue Cycle and/or Epic Revenue Cycle applications.

Collection will be accomplished by conventional phone system, letters, and other correspondence to collect underpayments to obtain full expected amount due.
