Job Summary

With Safety as a primary responsibility, this Plant Supervisor is responsible for supervising overall plant operations and employees to ensure non-stop production of top-quality products. Job Responsibilities

  • Ensure all safety rules are followed
  • Set production goals and expectation
  • Ensure proper housekeeping of the plant
  • Analyze scorecards and production reports
  • Oversee yard/warehouse personnel
  • Hire, train, promote and discipline employees
  • Adjust employee schedules to ensure adequate coverage of shifts
  • Plan and manage raw material and finished goods inventory, ensuring production schedules align with facility capabilities, customer requirements, and financial planning- Plan and manage raw material and finished goods inventory, ensuring production schedules align with facility capabilities, customer requirements, and financial planning
  • Oversee materials replenishment, quality standards, and performance metrics, while controlling operational costs and identifying cost-reduction opportunities
  • Maintain accurate documentation, report production hours, and monitor employee timekeeping, ensuring compliance with policies and tracking overtime

Job Requirements

  • High School diploma
  • Minimum 3+ years industry and general office experience
  • Knowledge of construction products, computers, basic accounting, and inventory
  • Working knowledge of manufacturing / production plants preferred
  • Employee management experience preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 100 pounds
  • Endure intermittent climbing, bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, pushing, and pulling
  • Walking and standing for long periods of time
