GCRE Global Prop Tech & Special Programs Manager

Job Summary:

We are looking for an inspirational and action-oriented leader to drive change and efficiency as the manager of Prop Tech and Special Programs globally within the Global Corporate Real Estate team. This role will be responsible for proposing, and leading the development and implementation of ambitious, complex, and multi-faceted Special Programs for the Global Corporate Real Estate line of business. This role is the primary product owner of all "Prop Tech" for GCRE and is the primary liaison with our Corporate Technology partners, both internal and external. This role is also the primary owner of data governance for all real estate related data.

As part of your main responsibilities, you will work closely with the GCRE team and senior leaders across the business globally to understand and identify areas of opportunity to drive efficiencies and better governance to develop an overall Special Programs roadmap, to secure approvals through detailed cost-benefit analyses, and to drive execution of approved programs.

This role will need to develop and maintain strong relationships with real estate colleagues, corporate teams, outsourced professionals and cross-functional leadership. You will establish an effective stakeholder engagement approach that includes support functions (Finance, HR, Legal, Technology, etc.) and business segment leadership.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with all levels of the organization, collaborating with team members in multiple geographies wielding unofficial authority with cultural sensitivity. The position requires a self-motivated, dynamic professional who ideally has experience in the Tech arena as well as experience in Real Estate and Facilities Management. The successful Candidate should be passionate about employee experience, process optimization, tech-savvy and able to a manage variety of projects at the same time.

Responsibilities:

Manage Prop Tech as Product Owner:

  • Own and manage the access, architecture and permit process as the Product Owner for all Prop Tech system for Chubb globally.
  • Be responsible for tech suppliers QBRs and contract management. Will also be responsible for reporting generated on all Prop Tech Systems
  • Be the GCRE Owner for the booking and reservation system, and any replacement tool selected, and work with Corporate Tech team on issues and global new development and implementations needed, including support with orders, Build Permits coordination, new office implementations and configurations, and trainings as needed. Be SPoC for all implementations and issues globally.
  • Co-lead the "Procore" Analytics 2.0 implementation global program, leading on governance model design, SOP development and implementation and creating clear workflows ensuring these are delivered by the Program Management teams through the third-party project management team.
  • Lead the Serraview CAFM technology implementation plan globally
  • Lead the selection and implementation of a new global CMMS system
  • Investigate, recommend and build business case for other technology related customizations and products as required
Manage one-off large-scale initiatives that are not real estate transaction or construction projects, examples include:
  • Act as global liaison with Communications to develop GCRE Brand and maintain the GCRE Village pages
  • Act as global liaison with Procurement and AP for the Coupa implementation and day-to-day management
  • Support regional initiatives around target operating models and outsourcing initiatives
Manage playbooks, programs, training, data governance, reporting across all real state disciplines, teams and tools
  • Lead the Change Management team to launch and analyze new offices post-move surveys and develop other similar feedback tools that might be needed for GCRE.
  • Update when appropriate the Change Management Playbook and ensure that the GCRE team is provided with the same
  • Identify further opportunities to develop supporting a change and efficiency strategy model to be presented to GCRE leadership for approval.
  • Provide regular and insightful reporting to key stakeholder and GCRE leadership on the above programs progress, risk, and other major initiatives as needed. Support Global GCRE Governance and Reporting Program as needed.
Other Special Programs as assigned
  • Build and lead the execution of approved strategic and tactical Special Programs that cultivate service results and maximize the development of efficiencies for the Global Corporate Real Estate teams and our processes.
  • Develop business cases and lead implementation through teams assigned to each program
  • Lead on programs that are sustainable and drive executional excellence and ensure risk mitigation and resolution.
  • Leading, advising and challenging our Corporate Real Estate team to support the approved special project to better support our business units.


Skills:
  • +5 years' experience in Real Estate and Facility Management, preferably in an agile environment, ideally with some experience of this in a culture change environment
  • +5 years' experience deploying and managing Tech platforms utilized in Facilities/Built environments
  • Outstanding communication and relationship management skills with a focus on the customer, at all levels of the organization with honed skills in managing through influence rather than authority
  • Self-starter with the ability to identify gaps, initiate changes, be innovative and devise creative solutions
  • Trusted advisor and collaborator
  • Possess strong ability to multi-task in order to lead a number of programs at once, while remaining flexible to changing business requirements and priorities
  • Strong performance orientation with a demonstrated ability to execute under tight deadlines

  • Ability to navigate and thrive within a highly matrixed global corporate environment, working closely with stakeholders across all time zones
