Claims Compliance Business Analyst (Finance)



JOB DESCRIPTION

Chubb North America Claims seeks a Data Call Analyst to assist with, and manage the day-to-day recurring weekly, annually, and monthly data calls related to Personal Lines, Property, Casualty, Automobile, Marine, Professional, Accident & Health. In addition, this position will focus on occasional ad hoc data calls from various state regulators.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist with annual recurring, and ad hoc data calls ranging from Fire Reports, Department of Labor inquires, Hurricanes, Earthquakes and Wildfires.
  • Upon receipt of a new data call from a state regulator, this individual will provide independent analysis of relevant information, and then provide consultation and recommendations to VP Claims Compliance.
  • Evaluate independently Chubb NA claim systems, processes, controls, and procedures to improve efficiency in reporting, along with ways to streamline the existing process. Look to utilize existing data sources, along with development of new data sources over time.
  • Communicate with colleagues and manager on any matters of significance related to changes or enhancements to existing data calls. insurance laws and regulations from internal resources or management. Provide recommendations and strategies for resolution.
  • Review and monitor regulatory changes that may impact the respective data calls being managed for various lines of business and insurance programs. Identify gaps, weaknesses, and deficiencies, and create ongoing improvements in the process.
