National Accounts Field Representative (Administrative)

      Boise Cascade has been a cornerstone of the wood products industry for over half a century. As one of North America's largest producers of engineered wood and plywood and a leading U.S. wholesale distributor of building materials, we take pride in building strong relationships—with our customers and our associates.

      We're currently seeking a National Account Field Representative to support and grow our partnerships with major accounts, including pro-oriented retailers, large DIY operations, and industrial customers.

      This role requires residency in the Las Vegas, Nevada area. The representative will be responsible for market development and account support across Las Vegas, Lake Havasu, and Kingman.

      What You'll Do:

      • Manage sales, marketing, quoting, and pricing for national accounts.
      • Deliver exceptional service to large-scale retailers and industrial clients.
      • Coordinate promotional materials, merchandising displays, and product training.
      • Maintain regular contact with store-level personnel, customers, and vendors.
      • Participate in promotional events and explore new sales opportunities.
      • Handle customer issues, claims, complaints, and receivables.
      • Analyze SKU mix and inventory to drive service and sales growth.
      • Ensure proper pricing and support for electronic data interchange (EDI).
      • Travel extensively throughout Las Vegas, Lake Havasu, and Kingman.
      • Uphold Boise Cascade's strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

       

    • What You Bring: Location Requirement: Must reside in the Las Vegas area.

      • Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent relevant experience.
      • Experience: 1–5 years in building materials, with strong product knowledge.
      • Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
      • Other Requirements:
        • Ability to travel extensively and work flexible hours as needed.
        • Physical ability to place displays and materials in-store.
        • Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
