Human Resources Coordinator (Finance)

The Human Resources Coordinator supports the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources department by managing administrative processes, coordinating programs, and assisting with recruitment, onboarding, and employee support. They serve as a key point of contact for staff, helping ensure a positive and efficient employee experience across all HR functions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinate and support a range of employee-facing programs, including new hire onboarding, wellness initiatives, annual field recruiting, benefits education, and employee training
  • Assist with full-cycle recruiting activities, including job postings, candidate communications, interview scheduling, job fair participation, and managing documentation through the offer and acceptance stages
  • Maintain data and workflows in the applicant tracking system (Rippling)
  • Act as the first point of contact for employee inquiries, delivering responsive, accurate, and compassionate HR support
  • Manage and contribute to departmental and cross-functional projects that enhance the employee experience and HR operations
  • Identify and recommend process improvements to increase efficiency, consistency, and scalability within the HR function
  • Collaborate with HR team members to meet shared goals and deliver high quality support to employees and leaders
  • Engage in ongoing learning and development to support your growth and effectiveness in the role

QUALIFICATIONS

  • At least 2 years of demonstrable experience in one or more areas of Human Resources (e.g., staffing/recruiting, benefits, training, compensation, HRIS, employee relations)
  • A clear understanding of the HR function, its value to an organization, and a strong commitment to pursuing a long-term career in Human Resources
  • Proven ability to manage multiple administrative tasks, programs, and projects simultaneously with high accuracy and efficiency, especially in fast-paced, dynamic environments with shifting priorities
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook
  • Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to craft grammatically correct, engaging, and professional content
  • Experience with social media platforms related to employer branding or recruitment marketing is a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and navigate complex software systems, ideally including HRIS platforms
  • Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail, including the ability to identify and suggest process or system improvements
