Sr Advanced Software Engineer (Finance)



As a Senior Advanced Software Engineer here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in the design, implementation, and management of complex systems and solutions that drive innovation, safety, and efficiency across various industries. Your expertise in simulation software engineering, will be instrumental in shaping the future of technology and industry solutions. You will report directly to our Senior Engineering Manager and you'll work out of our Deer Valley location on a flex schedule, allowing for a combination of remote and on-site work. In this role, you will impact the development and implementation of advanced systems, ensuring they meet performance, reliability, and quality standards.

You will provide technical leadership in identifying and resolving system issues, minimizing downtime, and ensuring systems remain operational. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to identify opportunities for process and system improvements, implement enhancements, and contribute to the optimization of operations. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support the design and development of advanced dynamic simulation software systems for simulation benches.

• Provide successful execution of complex engineering projects

• Implement and enforce security measures and compliance standards to safeguard systems and data

• Lead the deployment and configuration of systems, ensuring they are installed correctly, tested rigorously, and perform optimally

• Identify opportunities for process and system improvements, implement enhancements, and contribute to the optimization of operationsAs a Sr Advanced Software Engr here at Honeywell, you will lead a team of software engineers, ensuring successful project execution and high-quality solutions. • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics

• 4+ years of experience in simulation software engineering.

• Comprehensive knowledge in systems integration, implementation, and troubleshooting

• Experience in simulation bench design

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work under minimal supervision
