Pharmacist (Healthcare)
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the management and direction of the Pharmacy personnel and all operations of the pharmacy services. Serves as assigned supervisor to Pharmacy Clerks, Technicians, and Data Entry / Billing Specialist.Responsible for the day-to-day quality of service the pharmacy department provides to residents and clients.Participates in planning and controlling budgets for pharmacy services.Responsible for managing Pharmacy inventory, ordering supplies, and checking incoming shipments to ensure accuracy of order.Responsible for overseeing the accounting related functions, including billing. Ensures the billing is done timely, accurately, and appropriately.Regularly meets with Supervising Pharmacist to communicate and coordinate necessary needs, improvements and programs to monitor for success.Acts as liaison for facility relations with the general public. Presents a service oriented philosophy reflecting the ministry of Heritage Ministries and conveys this to staff and residents.

Qualifications:
Bachelors degree, or Doctor, of Pharmacy. Must have NYS Registered Pharmacist License. Prior long-term care experience a plus.Proficient with pharmacy computer programs with ability to learn new programs efficiently.Previous experience in Pharmacy insurance billing, including NYS Medicaid and Third party prescription plans.Must be able to meet health assessment requirements, including required testing and health documentation.
