Care Professional (Healthcare)
As a Care Professional, responsibilities may include:
light housekeeping such as vacuuming, dusting, dishes, or other chores the client may need help with.help prepare meals.assist with toileting, bathing or grooming needs.Provide companionship to our clients.Help with errand running such as grocery shopping, transportation to doctors' appointments, post office stops, and more.Participate in daily activity engagement.Provide medication reminders.Communicate with the office about changes in client status.
Benefits and Compensation:
The pay range for this position is $16.80-$18.30per hour, and is based on experience.
Differentials: $1 per hour more for weekend shifts, $.50 more per hour for all hours worked in a pay period with no call offs; $.50 more per hour for Flexcare shifts.

In order to protect the health and well being of clients and team members, all employees are encouraged to be vaccinated against COVID-19.Due to the nature of this job, a valid Illinois Drivers License, reliable transportation, and active auto insurance is mandatory.Reference check and background check will be conducted prior to employment.Must be comfortable working in homes where dogs/cats/smoke may be present.Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English Language.Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, clients, & general public.Must be able to react appropriately for situations that may arise in client care settings.We are an equal opportunity employer.
Working every-other weekend is required.Due to the nature of the services we provide, we cannot guarantee 40 hours per week.Shifts range from 3 to 12 hours.Overnight shifts can begin as early as 8:00pm.
