Sales Operations Data Analyst (Finance)

Position Summary
STULZ USA is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Sales Operations Analyst to support the optimization of our sales processes, data accuracy, and reporting. This individual will serve as a key resource in delivering actionable insights that drive sales performance and planning. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with SAP, data visualization tools, and a collaborative mindset to work cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Product Management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Reporting & Analytics
    • Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement
    • Generate and maintain dashboards and regular performance reports using SAP and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Excel)
    • Track key sales metrics including bookings, revenue, backlog, run rate, and forecast accuracy
  • Forecasting Support
    • Collaborate with Sales and Finance teams to support demand planning and forecasting activities
    • Reconcile data across systems and validate accuracy of inputs used in S&OP discussions
  • Sales Process Optimization
    • Assist in mapping and improving end-to-end sales processes for greater efficiency
    • Document process enhancements and help implement best practices around lead and opportunity management
  • CRM and Data Management
    • Support SAP ERP and CRM data integrity and user compliance
    • Conduct data audits to ensure clean, consistent, and actionable information across platforms
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Work closely with Marketing, Product Management, and Sales Operations to align reporting and planning efforts
    • Participate in cross-functional projects aimed at improving customer experience and sales enablement
  • Sales Enablement Tools & Insights
    • Help evaluate and support tools that enhance seller productivity and visibility
    • Provide ad hoc analysis and project support as requested by Sales or Executive Leadership

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics, Marketing, or a related field
  • 2-4 years of experience in sales operations, business analytics, or a similar data-driven role
  • Strong proficiency in SAP (especially SD and BI modules); CRM and ERP data experience is a plus
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualization tools
  • Familiarity with sales forecasting methodologies and pipeline metrics
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple projects and deadlines
