Field Service Technician (Finance)



As a Field Service Technician here at Honeywell, you will be responding and resolving complex service calls providing technical support and troubleshooting to Honeywell customers. Additional responsibilities related to the technical delivery of small service jobs, time and work material, and preventive maintenance may be assigned as well. These customers will have various products installed that fall into the - HVAC, automation controls, life safety, fire, and security systems category as well as their associated computer systems. The goal is to ensure system up-time and efficiency.

You will report directly to our Field Service Manager, and you'll work out of our Honolulu, HI location but you need to be willing to travel off island for training.As a Fire & Security Field Service Technician here at Honeywell, you will lead our Field Service team, optimize operations, and drive customer satisfaction and business growth through strategic initiatives and cross-functional collaboration.YOU MUST HAVE

  • Experience in low voltage electrical systems
  • Ability to work independently 75% of the time
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to travel throughout the service area, with occasional overnight stays
  • Valid Driver's License and driving record acceptable to Honeywell
  • Willing to travel off island for training

  • Adaptability and eagerness to learn new technologies and processes
  • Experience with CCTV and/or access control
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Independently troubleshoot and repair complex issues
  • Program more than one system
  • Perform system back-ups and install appropriate updates and patches
  • Run one-off problems, scenarios, and integrations based on the needs of the customer
  • Program EBI's
  • Understand and apply knowledge of virtual machines, system imaging, and networking to serve the needs of the customers (may need to possess certifications)
  • Complete required documentation for work performed or other contractual obligations
  • Use of safety personal protection equipment
  • Security and other clearances may be required by customer.

The annual base salary range for this position is $71,400-81,400. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
