Sr Advanced Systems Engr (Finance)



YOU MUST HAVE:
  • Qualified applicants must have a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering or a related field, with 6 years of experience with avionic systems.
  • Full term of experience must include: all aspects of the development life cycle, including requirements, integration, test and certification; ability to understand project goals and translate them into comprehensive, verifiable technical requirements; systems development and integration aptitude, which is characterized as understanding how the software components, interfaces, and data flows operate, then applying that knowledge to confirm that these components and hardware function together as intended with optimal performance and efficiency; and familiarity with creating systems testing strategies and plans, deploying test environments that avoid test duplication and improve test efficiency, coordination of formal systems qualification and robustness testing, and creation of regulatory-compliant documentation.

Sr Advanced Systems Engineer for Honeywell International, Inc. (Phoenix, AZ)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for all aspects of the qualification life cycle for Anthem avionics, including tooling requirements management, development of tooling to support systems development, integration, and test, deploying Qual test environments, and formal systems qualification testing and product certification.
  • Responsible for general Avionics Systems engineering tasks.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of cutting-edge avionics systems.
  • Enhancing the performance, reliability, and functionality of our avionics products.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to design, test, and optimize avionics systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop tooling for next-generation avionics systems.
  • Continually analyze and optimize network performance to ensure optimal results.
  • Perform testing and validation of avionics systems to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to network and hardware integration.
