The Facilities Maintenance is responsible for performing routine building maintenance tasks. Performance of building and office maintenance tasks in the following areas: carpentry, electrical, heating, ventilation, and plumbing. Will perform general cleaning and other tasks related to building and office repair.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Possess proven troubleshooting skills
Preventive maintenance background
Proven mechanical and hands on maintenance experience
Working with outside contractors to assist with duties. Examples elevator inspectors, fire pump inspectors, etc.
Knowledge and work experience in the fields of HVAC, general facility maintenance, and chillers.
Electrical and mechanical work experience
Possess basic plumbing skills
Plant compressed air knowledge
Working knowledge of Fire and Burglar alarm systems. Ability to put systems in test for certain job tasks.
Boiler inspection and service capability.
Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
3-5 years' experience working in facilities maintenance
Associate's degree in a technical or related field or equivalent direct work experience a plus
HVAC Certification Required
Previous manufacturing experience
Computer skills specifically MS Word/Excel/CMMS
Ability to work independently and as a team
Welding and Fabrication
Maintain a positive attitude
Attention to detail
Ability to operate a fork truck, boom lift, scissor lift
Trane and Carrier brand experience preferred
Eligible to work in the United States
