complex contract negotiations, including both business and legal terms, to
improve supply reliability and lower costs.Identify and drive cost reduction
efforts through new supplier identification and perform low-cost country
sourcing and strategic pricing negotiations. Maintain relationships and
coordinate activities with material and service vendors. Process purchase
orders through Oracle ERP. Lead initiatives, seek input, and communicate
results/processes. Foster communication and teamwork within and across
organizational boundaries. Drive work process and efficiency improvements.
Coach and mentor new purchasing associates.
