The Marketing Ops Ex & Events Intern will be involved with a range of projects which focus on elevating the importance of high-quality customer experiences with knowledge of various marketing channels. You will support the Director, Marketing Operations and Excellence in delivering high quality, process guided physical and digital experiences and high-impact engagements for our external and internal customers. The applicant needs to be innovative and explore exciting ways to connect, inform and represent Elekta to its customers.

Responsibilities - The role of Marketing Ops Ex & Events Intern will focus on digital marketing technologies (MarTech), logistics, and PowerPoint creation for our corporate events.

You will support to the Director, Marketing Operations and Excellence and the wider Marketing team, as and when required. This will include (but not limited to):

  • Assist in the development and execution of digital marketing campaigns for corporate events.

  • Utilize MarTech tools to analyze and optimize marketing strategies.

  • Track and report on digital marketing metrics.

  • Design and create visually appealing PowerPoint presentations for corporate events. Collaborate with event managers and speakers to understand presentation requirements. PPT design; ensuring brand continuity & projection

  • Ensure consistency in branding and messaging across all presentations.

  • Incorporate multimedia elements such as images, videos, and animations to enhance presentations.

  • Support the planning and coordination of corporate events, including logistics and attendee communication.

  • Assist with on-site event management and provide support during events.

  • Help maintain event databases and track registrations.

  • Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities in digital marketing for events.

  • Analyze competitor strategies and provide insights to improve our marketing efforts.

  • Deliver Hailo Posts and copy to promote Elekta's community activities wider on internal and external channels

  • Developing a brand/message 'communication kit' to enable legal entity to promote events

  • Brand ambassador; learn and live the brand & project that to customers and community

  • Stay on top of industry best practices and competitor activity to ensure that Elekta delivers game-changing ideas and solutions.

  • Work with the Marketing Team to plan and execute all marketing activities necessary to ensure successful events

  • Work with third party vendors to quote, order and manage event specific materials.

  • Help to set up, break down and clean up from the event as needed

  • Provide on-site assistance at events and ensure a positive client experience is fulfilled.

  • Provide administrative support such as but not limited to printing signage, mail, gathering supplies, organizing the event materials and setup of the event.

Qualifications-

  • Graduate or equivalent with at least 0-3 years of experience preferably within business, marketing or equivalent.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

  • Strong customer-focus and willingness to ‘go the extra mile' to ensure a unique, Elekta experience, is required.

  • Good IT literacy and confident using PowerPoint, Excel and Word

  • Ability to project manage multiple, concurrent projects is required.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills

  • Must be able to network across the organization and engage stakeholders in projects from kick-off through to successful delivery.

  • Experience learning and operating marketing software is essential.

  • International or cross-cultural experience is a plus.

  • Be able to communicate effectively in a professional environment.

  • Monday.com experience is a plus.

  • Interest in content marketing and digital channels

  • Innovative and curious mindset, not afraid to share ideas of best practices from other industries.

  • Natural storyteller and able to communicate key messages.

  • Knowledge in Adobe programs and/or photo/video editing software is a plus.

  • Demonstrates the Elekta values in the execution of their work is essential (Work as one team, do what we say, keep thinking forward)

The US base salary range for this position is $20-25/hour.
