Logistics Specialist - Materials Management (Finance)



Nemours is seeking a Logistics Specialist (Full-Time), to join our Nemours Children's Health team in Orlando, Florida.

The primary function of this position will be to provide leadership and direction to the Materials Services process along with performing the routine tasks associated with the receiving, Equipment Delivery and Mailroom. It is the responsibility of the Logistics Specialist to ensure that all supplies and stock out issues are addressed in real time. The Logistics Specialist will provide support to the Materials Management Tech to ensure proper inventory/par levels for all demand flow items.

  • Responsible for Leadership of the areas within Materials Management mainly as it relates to the demand flow supplies.
  • Responsible for daily reviews of all processes within the Receiving, Mailroom and Equipment Departments to ensure that they are being executed properly.
  • Works directly with direct Materials Management Supervisor and/or Manager to address any issues involving customers, processes or personnel related issues.
  • Maintain close communication with the Inventory Buyer, purchasing staff and Vendors to quickly resolve any discrepancies and to maintain a strong working knowledge of any projects or situations that will impact delivery of critical supplies to the clinical teams.
  • Receive and process incoming shipments using the RF Smart and Harmony Applications.
  • Ensure that all returns placed in the warehouse have the appropriate paperwork and are processed and picked up as requested.
  • Reconcile Harmony reports associated with assigned areas.

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma required.
  • Minimum of one (1) to three (3) years experience required.
