Position Overview
The Sr. Administrator A/P is an integral team member of the company-wide shared services Accounts Payable process. Responsibilities include following effective internal controls surrounding the Accounts Payable function and ensuring data integrity of financial information.
What You'll Do
Monitor, manage and assign tasks from the department's dedicated email box (accountspayable@wintrust.com) for all internal customers and vendors.
Process all Accounts Payable daily payment runs (Check, ACH Credit, ACH Debit, Wires), including any manual payment requests.
A/P research on requests for refunds, duplicate payments, payment errors, past due balances, tracking A/R items (debit balances on vendor accounts) and deposits of refund checks.
Perform monthly review of outstanding checks 90+Days, investigate and contact original requesters to determine validity of payment, stop-pay/void/cancel-reissue payments as needed. Conducts research of checks to be escheated and process required steps for Unclaimed Property of outstanding checks.
Perform review, printing and mailing of 1099s.
Order check forms and envelopes and other items (1099 forms/envelopes).
Qualifications
3-5 years of experience in high volume invoice processing and administration in Accounts Payable preferred.
Knowledge of Workday a plus.

Compensation
The estimated hourly rate for this role is $19.24-$26.45, along with eligibility to earn an annual bonus. Actual pay rate may vary based on several factors, such as a candidate's qualifications, skills and experience.
