Description

We're currently hiring a Marketing Automation Specialist to support this life-saving work, with a special focus on PlasmaSource, our growing plasma donation program.

In this role, you'll provide expert business support for marketing automation tools and help drive donor engagement through well-timed, impactful messaging. Working closely with our national marketing team, you'll play a key role in executing SMS/MMS and mobile app campaigns-and may also contribute to broader outreach efforts across email, outbound calling, digital media, and direct mail. Your work will help ensure that our messages reach the right people at the right time, ultimately supporting Vitalant's mission to make lifesaving donations possible every day.

As a Marketing Automation Specialist, you'll get to:
  • Collaborate with project staff to ensure smooth communication and successful project completion
  • Follow established change control processes throughout project execution
  • Partner with the Digital Marketing Team to develop test plans and execute tests for accurate performance measurement
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for assigned marketing automation applications
  • Extract and maintain data using approved tools to support end users
  • Coordinate with external vendors to ensure business and technical needs are met
  • Generate mobile marketing lists and campaigns aligned with the overall marketing plan
  • Launch and actively monitor multiple mobile campaigns in real time
  • Manage campaign deployments in line with channel budget
  • Analyze campaign data and KPIs to provide insights and adjust strategies in partnership with the Program Director of Mobile Marketing

Requirements

Knowledge/ Education

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
Licenses/ Certifications
  • Marketing automation certification preferred.
Experience
  • Two years' experience with marketing automation or mobile messaging/SMS platforms such as Acoustic, Adobe CX/Marketing Cloud, AirShip, Attentive, Birdseye, HubSpot, Mobile Commons, Oracle Eloqua or Twilio required.
  • Experience within a marketing organization that uses email, mobile app and SMS/MMS Text messaging as key communication channels required.
  • Database management and list creation experience preferred.
