Finance Specialist (Finance)



As a Finance Specialist here at Honeywell, you will play a key role in managing and analyzing financial data to support business decisions. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with company policies and regulations. You will work closely with various departments to provide financial insights and recommendations that drive business performance.As a Finance Specialist here at Honeywell Energy & Sustainability Solutions (ESS), you will play a crucial role in assisting the finance function and ensuring accurate financial reporting. Your primary responsibility will be to assist in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting activities. You will work with cross-functional teams to gather financial data, analyze trends, and provide insights to drive informed decision-making. Additionally, you will contribute to the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with company standards and best practices. Your attention to detail and strong analytical skills will be essential in maintaining accurate financial records and identifying areas for improvement. In this role, you will report directly to our Finance Manager and work out of our Baton Rouge, LA location on a hybrid work schedule.YOU MUST HAVE
  • 1+ years of experience in accounting or finance

  • Proficiency in financial analysis software and MS Office
  • SAP experience a plus

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting activities
• Work with cross-functional teams to gather financial data and analyze trends
• Provide insights and recommendations to drive informed decision-making
• Contribute to the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company standards
• Maintain accurate financial records and perform reconciliations
