Sr Finance Analytics Manager (Finance)

The Senior Financial Analytics Manager specializing in project accounting is responsible for leading financial analysis and reporting for various projects across the organization. This position requires a deep understanding of project accounting principles, financial forecasting, budgeting, and performance analysis. The Senior Financial Analytics Manager will work closely with project managers, financial teams, and senior leadership to provide insights that drive decision-making and improve project profitability.The Senior Financial Analytics Manager specializing in project accounting is responsible for leading financial analysis and reporting for various projects across the organization.You must have:

• Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in financial analysis, with a focus on project accounting or management.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in financial modeling, financial statement analysis, and forecasting methodologies. Familiarity with project management software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and make informed decisions.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
• Certifications: CPA, CMA, or similar professional certification is a plus.

Work Environment:

Financial Analysis:

• Perform in-depth financial analysis of project costs, revenues, and profitability.
• Develop and maintain financial models to forecast project performance and profitability.
• Analyze variances between actual and budgeted financial metrics, providing insights to stakeholders.

Reporting and Data Visualization:

• Create and present comprehensive financial reports and dashboards for management, highlighting key performance indicators (KPIs) and project metrics.
• Utilize financial data visualization tools to present complex data in a clear and actionable manner.

Collaboration with Stakeholders:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers and operational leaders, to deliver insights on financial performance and recommend strategies for improvement.
• Provide financial guidance and support to project teams in developing budgets and forecasts.
• Provide guidance to Corporate Gen AI teams to drive accuracy in predictive and AI modeling

Continuous Improvement:

• Identify and implement process improvements in project accounting and financial reporting practices.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in financial analytics and project accounting.

Mentorship and Leadership:

• Mentor and develop junior financial analysts, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth within the team.
• Lead special projects and initiatives that enhance the organization's financial performance measurement and analysis capabilities.
