Personal Service Attendant - afternoon shift (Healthcare)

We are currently seeking a dedicated and caring Caregiver/CNA to join our team and make a difference in the lives of our elderly residents.

Job Overview: As a Direct Caregiver, you will be responsible for providing personalized care to our residents, assisting with daily living activities, and ensuring their physical and emotional well-being. You will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents by delivering high-quality, compassionate care while building meaningful relationships with them.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Provide medication reminders and assist with medication administration as directed by healthcare staff.
  • Help residents with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure safety and comfort.
  • Engage with residents in meaningful conversations and recreational activities to promote mental and emotional well-being.
  • Monitor residents for changes in condition and report any concerns to the healthcare team.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment for residents.
  • Ensure confidentiality and respect for residents' rights, dignity, and preferences.
  • Foster positive relationships with families, residents, and staff members.

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous caregiving experience is preferred, especially in a retirement community or healthcare setting.
  • Compassionate, patient, and empathetic attitude toward seniors.
  • Ability to lift, transfer, and assist residents as needed.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
  • Background check and references required.
