Sr. Field Engineer - Digital (Finance)

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a technical field of study preferred or 8 years relevant elevator work experience.
  • QEI Certification a plus.
  • NEIEP or NEII Certification a plus.
  • Quality System Training Desired.
  • Eight years or more equivalent technical elevator work experience required.
  • Must be able to possess a valid passport.
  • Must possess the ability to work with test equipment and hand tools as required.
  • Must possess customer service and problem-solving skills.
  • Must possess decision making and analytical skills.
  • Must possess effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be able to closely follow, troubleshoot and create instructions and procedures/SOP to perform the functions of the job.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).

TK Elevator is currently seeking an experienced Sr. Field Engineer - Digital in Atlanta, GA.

This role will provide technical support to the field and digital transformation organizations for the latest in connected services (MAX) and related IoT based tools.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Provides technical guidance on root causes of shutdowns and anomalies in elevator systems as reported through our MAX IoT connected elevator platform
  • Document requirements for alerts and notifications that help field operations perform service efficiently
  • Define requirements four the MAX Premium offering that seeks to use remote monitoring data to recommend maintenance and repairs that prevent shutdowns
  • Provide recommendations for service efficiency gains that maximize uptime for customers.
  • Define user requirements for Digital Operations Center and related mechanic or technician facing tools.
  • Perform user acceptance testing and provide feedback to the Data, Quality, Engineering & Field Operations teams.
  • Train Field Mechanics, Area Adjustors and Support Engineers at all levels as needed.
  • Learn and develop subject matter expertise in digital tools & related remote elevator monitoring applications.
  • Perform special projects and other duties as assigned.
  • Maintain a valid passport
