Sr. Finance Manager, Cash & Working Capital (Finance)

Job Description:

The Cash & Working Capital Sr. Finance Manager role in the Snacking Cash Center of Excellence (COE) team will focus on Supply Chain, Inventory Management, Value Leadership, and Value Creation. The role will support the Snacking Cash Center of Excellence (COE) in critical cash & working capital analysis, help identify and drive opportunities for incremental value creation, including tracking, analyzing and modeling current and projected business performance, and support analytical work around target setting and other relevant ad hoc business and financial analysis. The role is a key business partner with regional Supply, Supply Finance, and various other Snacking finance leadership teams to bring insight and clarity to value creation opportunities within the various markets. The role provides partnership to the segment with a focus on driving effective, data-driven decisions and long-term value creation and building effective relationships, managing process and supporting stakeholders.

What are we looking for?

  • 7+ years of relevant experience with emphasis on supply chain finance, inventory management, and business partnering, financial planning & analysis, consulting, & corporate finance
  • Bachelor s degree in Finance, Business, Economics or a related field required
  • MBA or relevant professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) is preferred (not required).
  • Broad understanding of different areas of the business, key drivers and performance metrics
  • Problem Solving - can look to a broad range of solutions and doesn't stop at the first answer
  • Business Acumen - broad understanding of different areas of the business, key drivers and performance metrics
  • Dealing with Ambiguity - comfort with diving into ambiguous business questions to understand key issues and structure analytical path
  • Communication Skills - strong written, oral and visual (PPT) communication skills with a clear ability to tell a story

  • Financial analysis and insights and modelling skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights
  • Excellent financial modelling and data management skills required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly and effectively to diverse audiences.
  • Attention to detail
  • Understanding of intermediate level of accounting and financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statement)
  • Understanding of GAAP accounting
  • Strong knowledge of internal Mars accounting & systems
  • Mars Operational knowledge

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Provide insightful financial analysis and recommendations to support effective decision-making processes across the organization.
  • Value Creation Initiatives: Identify and drive opportunities for incremental value creation by tracking, analyzing, and modeling current and projected business performance.
  • Business Performance Analysis: Conduct thorough analytical work around target setting and other relevant ad hoc business and financial analyses to support strategic initiatives.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders, including Global and Regional Supply, & Supply Finance to facilitate collaboration and alignment on value creation opportunities.
  • Process Management: Manage financial processes and reporting, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in delivering financial insights to stakeholders.
  • Financial modeling for segments regional, and business units, including scenario-based target setting
  • External and internal benchmarking against key KPIs
  • Generate analysis and preparation of materials for Board-level and leadership team presentations
  • Support projects and processes for ongoing improved efficiencies, general ad hoc analysis, and overall team support

The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is between the range listed below, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.The total compensation package for this position will include variable pay, medical and dental benefits, participation in 401k plan, and paid time off benefits.Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an applicant receives an offer of employment.
