Your Next Career Opportunity – Director, Site Development Services
Under the direction of the General Manager, the Site Development Director has the responsibility of overseeing the site development activity associated within the assigned area of responsibility. The Director will interface with clients and management on a daily basis, ensuring all parties are kept informed and up to date on all deliverables. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to: ensuring workflow is being achieved and milestones are being reached timely, providing management direction, supervision and leadership for respective employees, ensuring the successful completion of all project deliverables and contract compliance. Lastly. The Director will be responsible for initiating sales calls and/or presentations with potential customers to achieve business development goals and objectives in specified territory.
What You Will Do – Primary Responsibilities
Manage assigned operational, budgetary, and financial responsibilities and activities of the department.
Plan and implement systems that perform the work and fulfill the mission and the goals of the department efficiently and effectively.
Develop and facilitate new business and general sales strategies for assigned area. Conduct sales calls and assist in preparation of presentations to communicate company capabilities and expertise to clients, consultants and property owners. Attend both internal and external meetings to discuss the progress of projects.
Establish and maintain relationship with customers and potential customers, ensuring customers are satisfied with day-to-day operations. Communicate and assist with the resolution of customer issues as required.
Plan and allocate resources to effectively staff and accomplish the work to meet departmental productivity and quality goals. Coordinate with site leasing, site zoning, regulatory compliance and construction on integrating site development process.
Plan, evaluate, and improve the efficiency of business processes and procedures to enhance speed, quality, efficiency, and output.
Make business decisions that are financially responsible, accountable, justifiable, and defensible in accordance with the organization's policies and procedures.
Establish and maintain relevant controls and feedback systems to monitor the operation of the department.
Review performance data that includes financial, sales, and activity reports and spreadsheets, to monitor and measure departmental productivity, goal achievement, and overall effectiveness.
Manage the preparation and maintenance of reports necessary to carry out the functions of the department. Prepares periodic reports for management, as necessary or requested, to track strategic goal accomplishment.

Supervisory Responsibilities
Work with Talent Acquisition to recruit, interview, select, hire, and employ a talented and diverse group of high performing team members.
Provide oversight and direction to team members in accordance with the organization's policies and procedures.
Coach, mentor and develop team members, including overseeing new team member onboarding and providing career development planning and growth opportunities.
Empower team members to take ownership of their job and goals. Delegate responsibilities as needed and provide routine constructive feedback on performance.
Create a culture that is consistent with the organization's focus on team member engagement and that aligns with the organization's mission, vision and values.
Lead team members using a performance management and development focused approach to assist in goal setting, two-way feedback, and performance development planning.
Lead team members to meet the organization's expectations for productivity, quality, and goal accomplishment.
What You'll Need – Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in related field of study;
and 5-10 years experience in site development / acquisition, zoning, land planning, local government or architecture; 5+ years for External Candidates and 7+ years for Internal Candidates.
and 3-5 years experience in management of people and/or process with demonstrated knowledge and understanding of P&L targets accompanied with financial accountability and experience making and influencing strategic decisions that improve operational performance.

Valid Government Issued Driver's License
Licensed Real Estate Agent or Broker's License
