ABOUT THE ROLE
Are you ready to grow your expertise and make a meaningful impact in packaging innovation? SC Johnson has an exciting Packaging Engineer opportunity on the International Consumer BrandsPest Control team reporting to a Manager, R&D. This team is focused on strategic growth and as an Associate Manager, you will lead the development of consumer-centric packaging solutions that drive business success and environmental responsibility across the STEM, Pyrel, and Raid Essentials brands.
As part of amulti-disciplinary team of subject matter experts, you will play a pivotal role in thediscovery, development, and qualificationof new or revised packaging materials and products. You will lead the front end of packaging innovation, from concept to design freeze, ensuring technical excellence and alignment with market and sustainability goals.
As an Associate Manager, you will be challenged to remain current with emerging packaging technologies in relevant categories for SCJ's strategic growth businesses. Additionally, you will be expected to participate in R&D's internal Community of Practice and may have the opportunity to mentor, as well as knowledge sharing, with others.
