Credit Analyst (Finance)

Wintrust Commercial Finance (WCF), an affiliate of Wintrust Financial Corporation, is looking for Credit Analyst candidate. This position will have active involvement in the growth of a commercial finance business. WCF provides highly sophisticated finance and lease products to commercial enterprises throughout the United States in a wide range of industries.
Responsibilities:
- The candidate will be assigned to the Credit department with a focus on underwriting and portfolio management.
- Conduct industry, business, and collateral research.
- Spread financial statements into WCF's standard format for further analysis.
- Underwrite transactions and perform an analysis of all finance, credit, legal, and business aspects of prospective customers.
- Prepare thorough investment write-ups and periodic reviews with recommendations that exhibit thoughtful and well-reasoned decisions.
- Coordinate all documentation, lien perfection, and closing activities associated with approved transactions while exhibiting a strong understanding of potential risks and acceptable mitigants.
- Perform annual reviews of existing obligors and assist in the preparation of semi annual review packages.
- Adhere to established WCF policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Candidate should possess a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting.
- Prior experience of 1-3 years would be preferred.
- Outstanding academic credentials and/or an internship in banking or related field preferred.
- Self-starter with ability to manage their time and quickly adapt to new activities.
- Attention to detail with demonstrated ability to accurately analyze financial information and make well-reasoned business decisions.
- Effective written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills necessary to work with business people at all levels.
- Attention to detail, strong work ethic, and willing to take initiative.
- Skilled at conducting business research.
- Proficient using Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point. Excel skills should include: Index/match, Vlookup/Xlookup, Sumproduct, IFS, pivot tables, data validation, conditional formatting, graphs
This position is located at Wintrust Commercial Finance headquarters in Frisco, TX.

Compensation
The estimated salary range for this role is $59,000 - $77,000 along with eligibility to earn an annual bonus. Actual salaries may vary based on several factors, such as a candidate's qualifications, skills and experience
