Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Operations Manager will be based in Austin, TX.

Reporting to the Director, Operations, the Operations Manager is responsible for effectively managing all strategic operational processes and resources and managing an organization to achieve and maintain operational excellence.

Here is a glimpse of what you'll do:

  • Manage appropriate staffing and inventory levels
  • Oversee the assembly operations to meet corporate KOI.
  • Supervise production staff on work method and quality checkpoints.
  • Coordinate with other departments and other Flex sites to drive for excellence.
  • Coordinate efforts of operations team by establishing procurement, production and engineering services policies and practices.
  • Ensure ISO and safety standards are adhered to.
  • Report to Senior Management team in weekly operations reviews.
  • Coach and mentor Operations team.
  • Leverage industry practices and apply to internal systems and processes.
  • Implement appropriate HR strategies and actions to recruit and retain a qualified and motivated workforce
  • Manage PCBA operations including SMT processes.

The experience we're looking to add to our team:

  • Bachelor's degree of related experience; Plus 7 years in Operations
  • 8+ years of experience in high volume manufacturing operations, fulfillment, packaging, logistics and material planning.
  • Minimum of 6 years in supervisory role.
  • Experience working with and presenting data to external customers.
  • Knowledge of Lean manufacturing process (Green belt preferred)
  • Ability to manage complex product flows
