Mira at Maumelle is looking for a reliable and hard-working part-time Dishwasher to support our dining services team in one of our senior living communities. What You'll Do (AKA: Your Superpowers)
Support Cleanliness & Sanitation:
· Wash and sanitize dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen equipment using proper procedures.
· Keep the dishwashing area clean, organized, and free from hazards.
· Handle garbage disposal and recycling according to safety standards.
Assist with Dining Services:
· Support kitchen staff with basic food prep and meal setup as needed.
· Help ensure the kitchen is well-stocked with clean dishware and supplies during meal service.
Ensure a Safe & Efficient Environment:
· Follow food safety and infection control procedures to maintain a clean kitchen.
· Report any maintenance or safety issues to the dietary manager.
Contribute to the Team:
· Work closely with cooks, dietary aides, and care teams to support smooth meal operations.
· Be flexible, reliable, and always ready to help where needed.
What You Bring to the Table (Besides Your Great Attitude)
Experience & Skills:
· Previous experience in a kitchen or dishwashing role is a plus--but we'll train the right person!
· Ability to work efficiently and independently in a fast-paced environment.
· Attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness and safety.
Physical Requirements:
· Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout your shift.
· Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds and work in a hot and humid environment.
Certifications:
· Food handler certification preferred or willingness to obtain upon hire.
