THE POSITION
Partner with Commercial Excellence and Supply Chain to support Aerospace's $1.5B Retrofit/Modification/Upgrade (RMU) segment and $500M Finished Good Inventory (FGI) strategic sales initiative workstream. Learn M&A processes, financial modeling, and partner cross-functionally to complete thorough reviews of target financials. Act as a business partner to Sales Excellence, Offering Management, and Supply Chain to provide decision support to leadership in optimizing future performance and enhancing profitability tied to key strategic sales initiatives. This role reports directly to the VP CFO of Commercial Finance.

Collaborate with Sales Excellence teams by maintaining data driven models to provide real-time insights, drive accountability, and enhance forecasting across business groups & sales channels. Support Offering Management on delivering NPI organic growth through measurement of key drivers and analysis of RDE, NPI Launches, and Certifications. Partner with Commercial and ISC teams to transform our current quarter Book & Turn sales process to enable increased orders pipeline and growth.

Maintain standardized reporting to create increased visibility into operational strategy and performance for both RMUs and FGI. Play a role in successfully implementing a 6 quarter rolling forecast for RMUs in partnership with Sales Excellence. Work closely with the Data Analytics team to accelerate the digitization of RMU/FGI into EDW to support self-service reporting and drive transformation initiatives to support leadership team and enhance value.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reporting and analysis - present complex financial issues in a simple "customer friendly" manner
  • Reduce monthly reporting cycle time; ability to recommend and implement process improvements, drive automation / digitization efforts
  • Partner with leadership - anticipate the needs of stakeholders, focus work processes on customer satisfaction and value creation
  • Influence key leaders
  • Operational expertise; handle ambiguity and function effectively in a matrix organization
  • Train new team members and be a leader to analyst finance partner
  • Identify improvement areas, establish clear processes
  • Work independently, collaborate effectively
  • Lead complex initiatives, manage numerous priorities
