Job Summary

Job Summary:

The Site Installation Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and managing employees on jobsites and ensuring compliance with OSHA safety and Crown quality standards.

This position will require 90% of overnight travel across the United States via company vehicle and/or airplane. Must have valid identification for air travel in accordance with TSA regulations.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Oversees the daily workflow and assignments of the employees assigned to the jobsite

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Supervises production operations on assigned jobsite; Serves as the primary jobsite representative for Crown Technical Systems
  • Maintains knowledge of processes and equipment used according to company policies and procedures
  • Troubleshoots issues that arise on the jobsite; communicate and partner with Construction Manager for guidance on complex issues
  • Coordinate resources as necessary to achieve safe and efficient results based on project workload
  • Review and verify the quality of work to ensure it meets the specifications of assembly drawings and wiring schematics
  • Partner with the Construction Manager to track progress or changes to jobsite schedules and communicate information to team members as appropriate
  • Complete all required documentation required for jobsite installations
  • Assist with electrical and assembly installations, as needed
  • Provide recommendations to increase productivity and efficiency of the department
  • Leading safety tailgate meetings onsite to comply with applicable safety regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Oversees site installation projects that are complex in nature
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly learn production operations and machinery.
  • Excellent supervisory and leadership skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
  • Basic understanding of tools (ex. Tape measures, impact drill, etc). and math skills to meet technical specifications and measurements
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software to complete reports and logs.

Experience/Education/Certifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associates degree in Construction Management or related field preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in effectively leading a team of employees
  • 5+ years' experience in supervising site installation projects, manufacturing, fabrication, or in a related field
  • OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 General Certification required
  • Current Driver's License and ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Background check to operate company vehicles

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to traverse and inspect all areas of jobsite in all types of weather; this may include walking, climbing, reaching, bending, crawling, or stretching.
  • Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds at a time.
  • Must have manual dexterity in order to assemble products or machines as directed.
  • Must have excellent hand-eye coordination.
  • Ability to differentiate between colored wires, tabs, and electronic components.
  • Must wear PPE, such as gloves, safety glasses, hard hat, and ear protection, while working on the production floor and at job sites

Pay Range (Applicable to California)

$62,000.00 USD - $85,300.00 USD Annual
