Regional Health Center Operations Director - Evernorth - Remote US (Finance)

Evernorth Workplace Care - Personalized Care Where You Are

Reporting to the Head of Center Operations and Client Services, major job duties include:

  • Accountability for P&L (Profit and Loss) and key performance indicators/performance goals (KPI's) for assigned Employer Evernorth Workplace Care Health Centers across multiple properties and locations in assigned region.
  • The Director of Operations will directly oversee clinical and office staff, and have responsibility for day-to-day operations, patient services and client services per our contractual agreements and scopes of service.
  • Responsible for full operations across client sites in addition to developing key strategies and enhancements of services to continuously drive improvements/operational excellence, efficiencies and margin expansion for the business.
  • Monitoring revenue generation and operational expense management, ensuring operational excellence of the budget, Key performance indicators and performance guarantees in the client's contract.
  • Responsible for the contract expense management for assigned Health Advocates (Coaching/Clinics), partnering with the business units clinical managers.
  • Work in a strong matrix relationship where EWC Clinical supports in the hiring and management of clinic's professional staff.
  • Work with EWC Clinical and EWC Legal to ensure compliance in states with the Corporate Practice of Medicine Prohibition.
  • Support Evernorth's Account Managers and EWC Clinical as the EWC liaison.
  • Participate as needed in Health Center/Coaching sales and Finalist meetings to represent Evernorth Workplace Care capabilities and management expertise.
  • Ensure Contract Compliance and Performance Guarantee results.
  • Assist the development of departmental annual budgets and 5 year forecast.
  • Identify opportunity to enhance existing relationship with the addition of new EWC services.
  • Evernorth Workplace Care client interface representative, working directly with the assigned Evernorth Account Managers
  • Ensure all assigned clinics meet or exceed all State, Federal and regulatory requirements.
  • Supports EWC Team as subject matter expert for external and Sales marketing presentations.
  • Develop close working relationships with account teams to manage and exceed client expectations.
  • Monitor existing business/operational processes for continuous improvement, including championing patient experience.
  • Implement compliance /operational/financial/clinical/quality policies and procedures.
  • Provide effective leadership for all employees by establishing open communication, mentoring, training guidance, and articulating clearly defined goals and objectives for ongoing performance excellence.
  • Work with Evernorth HR leads in developing a recruiting and retention strategy.
  • Works close with internal and external Matrix partners to ensure alignment with organizations goals and direction.

Qualifications :

  • Clinical/Healthcare professional with 5 or more years of Healthcare Management experience preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree required; MBA or MPH a plus.
  • At least 3 or more years of experience managing diverse employee groups, including clinical professionals
  • Management experience in healthcare delivery is a must, with experience managing health care clinics and/or practices in a retail or private setting
  • Experience managing in a profit and loss business environment.
  • Experience working in a matrix organization with strength in organizational agility and resourcefulness and bias for action and driving solutions
  • Strong project management skills
  • Strong experience in Client services/client-facingroles with strong presentation and communication skills
  • Ability to travel as needed to customer sites, often with limited notice; Travel for operational site visits estimated at 40%-50% within the assigned region
  • Strong preference for this person to reside in Florida / Southeastern state

This is a work from home role but the Regional Operations Director must reside in the contiguous US with easy access to a major airport.

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 111,500 - 185,900 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
