Compensation Specialist (Finance)



The Compensation Specialist assists in the development, management, and administration of compensation programs to ensure compliance and alignment with company objectives, policies, and government regulations.Administers and responds to compensation-related inquiries through the Service Now system.Maintains compensation-related databases and systems that support compensation programs throughout the organization, including maintenance of HRIS tables and queries.Administers ad-hoc bonuses and answers related questions from field and corporate associates.Works with Compensation team to evaluate and edit new or existing jobs.Participates in market surveys.Supports the wage analysis process through market research and insight. Provides initial recommendations for approval.Supports the administration of the annual merit and performance review processes.Performs regular and ad hoc analysis, creating requested reports from multiple data sources.Administers Brookdales companys minimum wage updates to ensure all associates are paid according to state, federal, and local minimum wage laws.Creates processes and systems to support the Compensation team with information management.This job description represents an overview of the responsibilities for the above referenced position.
