Business Systems Analyst II - Remote (Finance)



Description

We're currently seeking a Business Systems Analyst II to support that mission through expert functional and technical application support. In this role, you'll serve as an internal consultant, resolving system challenges, supporting upgrades and new implementations, and recommending process or application improvements that help our teams work smarter and more efficiently in support of patients across the country.

Schedule: Monday - Friday

Work Location: This position can be located remotely from a work-at-home environment anywhere in the United States.

As a Business Systems Analyst II, you'll get to:
  • Follow change control processes through project completion.
  • Create and refine RFPs, requirements, specifications, and functional design documents.
  • Develop and execute testing plans and review test results.
  • Ensure adherence to design standards and conventions.
  • Configure, implement, and maintain assigned applications to meet evolving business needs.
  • Manage application security roles in line with regulatory standards and best practices.
  • Stay current on industry trends and build professional networks.
  • Communicate project updates through presentations and team meetings.
  • Collaborate with project staff to ensure smooth, on-time delivery.
  • Perform data extractions for end users using approved tools.
  • Act as a subject matter expert and support resource for assigned applications.
  • Coordinate with vendors to ensure business requirements are met.
  • Assist with developing and monitoring project budgets.

Requirements

Knowledge/ Education

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required .
  • Knowledge of automated applications systems, system development life cycle, and project management principles required .
  • Knowledge of applicable business application(s) required
Experience
  • Three years of specific business applications experience required including:
    • Three years experience in Business Systems Consulting, Information Technology or equivalent.
    • Experience with projects, upgrades, ERP implementations, application configuration, systems analysis, requirements definition, unit/functional/system integration testing, and production support.
Skills/ Abilities
  • Effective interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze functional problems and develop sound and cost effective solutions.
  • Planning, organizational, analytical, problem solving and prioritizing skills.
  • Ability to organize a diversified and heavy workload.
  • Ability to make sound decisions and work well under pressure.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Ability to work effectively with all levels of staff and management and provide consistently high levels of customer service.
  • Must maintain confidentiality.
  • Strong computer skills.
