Maintenance Planner/Scheduler - Products Splitter (Finance)

Position Description

The main function of this position is the day-to-day scheduling and planning of Splitter maintenance requirements, internal maintenance and inventory management. This person must be able to manage Maximo, spare parts inventory, maintenance operation is conducted in a safe and efficient manner.
Key Responsibility Areas

• Schedule the day to day in the field maintenance activities.
• Provide daily updates of REAL and KEY asset readiness.
• Schedule the 3rd party vendor onsite service work.
• Schedule and prioritize maintenance activity's to be conducted at the Splitter.
• Monitor Work Order's to ensure work is getting completed on time.
• Review inventory and order parts as needed.
• Assist the Maintenance Supervisor in prioritizing repairs and preventive maintenance to remain in compliance.
• Manage the work order's based Plant management maintenance priorities.
• Review Work Pending/Service Request and provide input on priority of the repair required.
• Assist in determination of correct parts for inventory and appropriate inventory levels.
• Assist in managing onsite capital parts.
• Actively participate in KM training, SOE meetings, plant meetings.
• Provide assistance in other areas based on management request.
• Fully manage Maximo, Work orders, Inventory, ETC.

Position Requirements

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Associate's degree in Process Technology or related field preferred.
• Experience: Must demonstrate a strong work ethic with a minimum 2-5 years demonstrated work experience with Maintenance planning & Scheduling.
• Qualifications:
• • Experience in managing equipment inventory and maintenance scheduling
  • Experience working on all types of equipment, specifically pumps, exchangers, valves, piping, mixers, towers, furnaces, Chillers, ETC.
  • Experience in creating and utilizing Maximo.
  • Experience in creating and utilizing warehouse tracking.
  • Experience in ordering parts and working with 3 rd party vendors.
  • Experience in issuing work orders and tracking completion.
  • Ability to properly plan, prioritize, execute (while under pressure and while meeting deadlines), and evaluate the results of assigned tasks.
  • Must be an effective communicator including: being an attentive listener, be able to speak one on one or to a group of people, and being specific, timely and accurate. Ability to write clear communications in email, proposals, summary documents, and others.
  • Must have the ability to comprehend basic accounting/finance fundamentals.
  • Ability to understand equipment and parts.

• Computer Skills: Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, and Outlook). Send and receive email, perform inventory accounting, and enter repair work orders.
