Quality Technician - 2nd Shift (Finance)



The Quality Technician is a critical member of the quality control team, ensuring that products and services consistently meet stringent quality and reliability standards. This role involves conducting in-depth testing, analyzing results, and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements. The Quality Technician also plays a key role in managing, maintaining, and repairing gaging equipment to support seamless inspection processes, while recommending and implementing improvements to enhance product quality, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Job Details

  • Pay Range: On-Site
  • Work Location: $18.00 - $22.00

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive testing and inspections of products and services to confirm they meet or exceed quality and reliability standards.
  • Analyze test results, identify potential issues or trends, and recommend actionable improvements to enhance product quality and consistency.
  • Operate, maintain, and accurately apply a variety of precision gaging instruments during quality control processes.
  • Manage the maintenance, rebuilding, and repair of gaging equipment, ensuring all tools are calibrated and functioning according to established standards.
  • Monitor and operate inspection equipment (including gauges) to record, analyze, and interpret quality data, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and industry standards during testing and inspection processes, addressing potential non-conformities proactively.
  • Complete all required documentation with precision and attention to detail, ensuring timely submission and compliance with company policies.
  • Maintain meticulous records of inspection activities, test results, and quality data to support audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Adhere to all safety, environmental, and quality policies and procedures, promoting a culture of compliance and accountability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues, contributing expertise and insights to drive process improvements.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

  • Proficiency in the use, calibration, and maintenance of gaging instruments, ensuring accurate and reliable inspections.
  • Detail-oriented mindset to maintain high standards of accuracy in testing, documentation, and process execution.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines consistently.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also managing individual responsibilities effectively.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and improvement, keeping up to date with evolving quality standards, technologies, and industry practices.

Qualifications
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in a similar role
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision
  • Proficiency in handling complex issues and problems
  • Comprehensive working knowledge of subject matter
