Position: Maintenance Mechanic
Location: Manhattan, Kansas

Youll play a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing the safety, appearance, and functionality of our clients environments. As a Maintenance Mechanic with LB&B Associates, Inc., youll work in a dynamic setting where your expertise directly impacts the day-to-day operations and satisfaction of our clients and their teams.
What Youll Do
Roll up your sleeves and get ready for a rewarding scope of responsibilities! Each day as a Maintenance Mechanic brings new challengesand the satisfaction of overcoming them. Your key duties will include:
Replacing electrical receptacles, wires, switches, fixtures, and motors to keep essential systems running smoothly and safely.
Patching minor holes and cracks in walls and ceilings with plaster or compound, ensuring every space looks its best.
Repairing or replacing sinks, water coolers, and toilets, helping maintain the comfort and convenience of our facilities.
Painting floors, steps, and sidewalks to preserve aesthetics and safety.
Replacing damaged paneling and floor tiles for safe, attractive workspaces.
Hanging doors, installing locks, and enhancing security throughout the premises.
Replacing broken window panes and performing general maintenance on equipment and machinerykeeping all operations running like clockwork.
Your role is essential to our mission: providing dependable, high-quality maintenance services that support the success of our clients and the well-being of everyone who visits or works in their facilities.
What Were Looking For
Do you bring a well-rounded skill set and pride in your trade? We're seeking candidates who demonstrate:
Experience: At least four (4) years hands-on experience performing general maintenance and repair of facilities equipment, with solid practical skill and knowledge across multiple trades, including mechanical, painting, carpentry, plumbing, masonry, and electrical work.
Education: High School Diploma or G.E.D. required.
Attitude: Dedication to safety, service, and teamwork. You approach your work with integrity, a positive outlook, and a commitment to doing the job right the first time.
Problem solving: Ability to diagnose issues, propose solutions, and execute repairs efficiently and effectively.
Communication: Comfortable collaborating with team members, supervisors, and site contacts to ensure the highest standards of service.
