Cash Management Coordinator (Sales)



Job Description Summary

Responsible for consulting and coordinating with business members regarding their Cash Management needs to ensure that they are provided with credit union products that are relevant and helpful to their business. Responsible for the installation and training of Desktop Remote Deposit Capture, implementation of ACH and other relevant Cash Management products. Serve as a subject matter expert to members and employees regarding cash management products, implementations and ongoing training.

Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Serve as an advisor to the business members in delivering comprehensive and customized business banking products and solutions tailored to the financial needs and circumstances of business members.
  • Meet members at their place of business to implement ACH, Remote Deposit Capture and other products; provide necessary training and ongoing product information and support to the business members.
  • Takes initiative and responsibility in developing solutions for members' concerns and problems; follows through to ensure member satisfaction with the outcomes.
  • Serves as the department subject matter expert in handling and resolving complex business member account situations and processing problems.
  • Makes annual audits and site visits to businesses using Remote Deposit Capture, ACH and other cash management products to ensure compliance and mitigate risk.
  • Answers questions and provides guidance for Credit Union employees and members with Cash Management issues, including but not limited to; online banking, ACH, RDC, Wires, Account Reconciliation, bill pay account research, statements, and information on new business products and services.
  • Consults, Interacts and collaborate with vendors, staff on products, testing software updates and new products for Cash Management.
  • Assists with writing and maintaining Credit Union procedures for processing treasury/cash management products and services. Assists with updating and creating new documents for business cash management products.
  • Ensures compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements and Credit Union policies and procedures to include ACH, Wires and RDC.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

Minimum Qualifications

To perform this job satisfactorily, an employee must be able to carry out each essential duty competently. The requirements listed below are representative of the education, experience, skills and abilities required. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Education Requirements

Required - 4 Year / Bachelors Degree - Relevant discipline or equivalent work experience

Required - Accredited ACH Professional (AAP) certification within 24 months

Experience Requirement

Required - 2 Years - Experience in Member Service, Business Account, Cash Management or similar

Preferred - Experience conducting training

SKILLS/ABILITIES

  • Effectively apply internal and external customer service practices and processes to meet quality service standards and achieve member satisfaction.
  • Learn and apply information, on a wide range of Credit Union products, services and regulatory compliance requirements, in order to assess member situations and develop solutions.
  • Must be knowledgeable of business types and structures, i.e. corporations, LLC's, partnerships, sole proprietors etc., in evaluating business related documents and ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Ability to analyze data on business accounts with research to comply with BSA & US Patriot Act and to ensure appropriate risk monitors.
  • Resolve problems utilizing advanced knowledge and experience.
  • Communicate in a professional manner and deliver information clearly and effectively. Actively listen to questions, opinions and ideas of others. Use tact and diplomacy in sensitive and confidential situations.
  • Use correct English including spelling, grammar and punctuation.
  • Operate computers and use business software and other standard office equipment.
  • Understand and follow written and oral instructions.
  • Set priorities and manage one's own time effectively.
