Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Traffic Analyst located in Memphis TN.

Reporting to the Operations Manager. The Traffic Analyst role will coordinate and consolidation of internal and international systems to support shipments in the most cost-effective manner to deliver maximum advantage to the company and its customers.

Shift: 1st - 7am – 4pm Mon-Fri

What a typical day looks like:

• Gather, evaluate, record, and report on current market information regarding transportation methods.
• Work with the team to define company and customer needs and make recommendations on cost-effective transportation methods.
• Ensure the lowest cost transportation by analyzing needs, researching methods, and auditing carrier costs and performances.
• Ensure compliance with laws, rules, and regulations regarding shipping/transportation methods and prepare applications for certifications and licenses.
• Maintain logs and compile information on routes, rates, and services from various vendors.
• Arrange shipping details such as packing, shipping, and routing of products.
• Evaluate and recommend transportation as well as appropriate routing and carriers.
• Plan, schedule, and route inbound and outbound domestic and international shipments, considering applicable laws, tariffs, and company policies.
• Ensure compliance with corporate and facility policies and procedures.
• Maintain and update Traffic Metrics on a daily/weekly/monthly basis.
• Establish and maintain relationships with agents/suppliers to achieve quality service and cost reduction.
• Schedule company vehicles for service and maintenance checks and ensure proper registration and insurance.
• Support the team in dealing with daily operational and transportation issues.

The experience we're looking to add to our team:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent and 2 years' experience
• 2 years of experience in manufacturing Industry.
• 2 years experience in Logistics and Manufacturing
• Experience in BOL's (Bills of Lading)
• Experience functional, technical and people and/or process management skills as well as customer (external and internal) relationship skills.
• Experience skills in functional/technical area. Has awareness of the functional impact upon work processes and other functions.
