GM of Sales Development - Aurora, IL (Project Management)
Position Summary
Develop and execute a proactive inside sales strategy that drives forward and facilitates sales operations - including prospecting, lead generation, customer onboarding, and new business development.
Work with other sales departments to implement this plan and to identify short and long-term needs of the organization. Working with executives to plan for the future.
Develop and implement an integrated inside and after-sales strategy from the ground up, encompassing organizational design, role definition, recruitment, and KPI setting. This includes managing the entire sales process—from lead generation, prospecting, and customer onboarding to driving growth through after-sales initiatives. The role also requires leveraging digital transformation expertise to optimize operational efficiency. Collaborate closely with Japan headquarters to ensure strategic alignment, while working with other sales departments and executives to meet short- and long-term organizational needs for sustained success.

Supervisory Responsibilities: Responsible to manage employees engaged in sales and support activities. Hire, train, assist employees, enforce company policies, resolve ordinary difficulties, establish performance standards, and evaluate employee performance.
Work Environment: Office Environment.
Physical Demands: The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position.
Monday – Friday 8:30AM – 5:00PM. Flexible work hours required on a periodic basis.
Travel: Minimal overnight travel from time to time. Maximum travel 10%.
Required Education and Experience: Four year degree or equivalent education; five+ years' experience.
