Job Description:

We are currently looking for our next Supply Chain Strategy Finance Lead.

BRN is the preferred location for this position, c andidates from hub locations/remote locations may be considered.

The Supply Chain Strategy Finance Lead provides strong financial leadership to the industrial engineering, project engineering, and broader supply chain leadership teams in support of the overall supply chain strategy. This covers areas such as network optimization, innovation impacts to supply, plant-related investments (obsolescence, safety, quality), and increasing assets to support capacity and/or capability.

The role is accountable for designing, reviewing, and supporting all capital spending requests. In addition, this role oversees the financial management of Commercial and Supply Chain overhead costs - including forecasting, period actuals, budgeting, cost optimization actions, and driving thought leadership to manage overhead spend more effectively. This role also includes leadership of an associate who focuses on overhead analysis and fixed asset management.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 10+ years of work experience with emphasis in accounting, budgeting, and financial analysis
  • Experience in a multi-cultural and multi-business environment; ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting
  • Proven track record of delivering business objectives
  • Knowledge/experience supporting supply chain teams
  • Brand analysis and product profitability experience
  • Consumer packaged goods experience preferred
  • MBA / CPA preferred

What will be your key responsibilities?

Primary Responsibilities

  • Prepare and/or review all financials associated with CAPEX/CAB investments, including returns, benefits, and costs.
  • Lead the financial management of Commercial and Supply Chain overhead costs, including accurate forecasts, budgets, and period-end reporting.
  • Identify and drive cost optimization initiatives in overhead spend, in partnership with Commercial, Supply Chain and Finance teams.
  • Be a thought leader in establishing best practices for overhead management, challenging the status quo, and driving spend effectiveness across the network.
  • Provide strategic financial leadership to the Supply Chain team to support network optimization, innovation-driven impacts to supply, and plant-related investments.
  • Partner with supply chain leadership in presenting and socializing the business case among regional and global leadership teams.
  • Collaborate with corporate affairs, legal, supply, and 3rd party consulting firms on state/local incentive processes, including project intake, jobs/pay alignment, documentation review, CFO sign-offs, and ongoing compliance.
  • Ensure all governance and controls surrounding assets are met, including quarterly fixed asset reviews and annual CAB investment/review submissions.
  • Prioritize and pace CAB investments to align with cash targets and strategic priorities.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to establish the 5-year CAB investment plan to meet strategic goals and serve as the finance representative to the demand/marketing organizations.
  • Provide periodic business updates, financial training, and financial policy changes to engineering and supply chain teams.
  • Lead and develop one direct report the Overheads and Capital Analyst
