ATM Funding Associate (Finance)



Location: Sioux Falls, SD
Shift: M-F 8am-5pm with rotating on call
Job Schedule: Full-Time

About the Role
To assist in accounting, controlling, and reporting for the ATM Cash Funding program for First PREMIER Bank, plus assist the Finance Department with back up duties, financial reporting, and ALCO as well as special projects.

Job Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Order cash to be loaded into ATMs, after verifying order is within specified limits.

  • Record entries for cash ordered, cash returned by processors, and cash returned by courier in ATM Manager Pro and QuickBooks. Record daily summary transactions to the general ledger.

  • Monitor load, processor, and deposit activity and verify funds are loaded and deposited on a timely basis.

  • Reconcile funds received to expected proceeds.

  • Provide courteous service to ATM Funding customers and vendors.

  • Assist with monthly ATM reconciliations and invoicing.

  • Assist in set up and monitoring of vendor relationships.

  • Research missing/excess settlements with Processor and missing/excess funds from couriers.

  • Perform On Call duties after normal working hours and on weekends.

  • Back up other Finance Department duties.

  • Assist with special projects as assigned.

  • Assist in updating terminals in S & G software.

  • Assist in adding new customers and updating current customer files in QB's.

  • Setting up new customers and groups and updating terminal status in ATM Manager Pro software.

Skills and Qualifications 

  • Combination of education/experience that would enable incumbent to meet essential functions and required competencies of the position.

  • Basic computer skills, with emphasis on Excel, and proficiency of the English language. 

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. 

  • Ability to concentrate and work independently. 

  • Work effectively in a team environment. 

  • Attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills. 

  • Capacity to learn, adapt to change, and become proficient quickly. 

  • Ability to handle stress, exercise self-control, adhere to company policies and procedures and uphold the PREMIER Way.
