Riverwalk Post Acute is looking for a dynamic and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team part-time. You'll work with a diverse patient population, helping individuals regain communication and swallowing abilities through personalized care plans and evidence-based therapy.
🌟 What You'll Do
- Provide speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing therapy to residents.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of nurses, therapists, and physicians.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Document progress and adjust interventions as needed.
- Educate patients, families, and staff on communication strategies and techniques.
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid California SLP license.
- ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Experience in skilled nursing or rehabilitation settings is a plus.
- A warm personality, strong communication skills, and a heart for healing.
