Pool and Beach Activities Coordinator - Caribe Hilton (Finance)




The famous Caribe Hilton is looking to expand their Beach and Pool Activities Coordination Team. With a 5ft. infinity pool, Tropical Pool next to the Hammock Gardens, a whirlpool, cabana rentals, and a kid's fountain pool we never run out of fun! Our property is only seven miles from San Juan airport with a flight time of four hours from most major US cities, this is Puerto Rico's perfect spot.

Ideal candidates have a minimum of 1 year in customer service/hospitality and will be able to communicate in Spanish and English and understand the languages . Previous experience in working in a similar role is preferred.

Shift Pattern:Full availability 7AM-7PM during weekdays, weekends and holidays. Schedule hours may vary based on hotel occupancy and operational need.

Pay Rate: $17.53 per hour

What will I be doing?

A Beach & Pool Activities Coordinator, you are responsible for coordinating, promoting, publicizing and facilitating club activities and programs in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Coordinate, promote and facilitate all activities and programs for guest at the beach & pool areas. Give support to the coordination, organization and development of any special activity offered to the Club Members.
  • Greets every guest by making eye contact, smiling and offering a warm and friendly greeting.
  • Ensure proper procedure of guests and club member's beach and pool access, including wristbands, towels and accommodation, recording guest's last name, room and guest count.
  • Perform receptionist duties including, but not limited to, answering telephones, taking and relaying messages, processing and recording financial transactions, scheduling appointments and stocking and maintaining supplies, as needed
  • Maintain cleanliness of work area in accordance with federal, state, local and company standards
  • Assist in monitoring facility use to ensure guest safety
  • Perform general club duties, as needed

Position requierements:

  • 1 year in customer service/hospitality
  • Bilingual: English & Spanish
  • Ability to input and retrieve information from computer systems.
  • Previous experience in working in a similar role is preferred.
