Activities Assistant (Healthcare)
Job Type: Full-Time - Flexibility with hours with will include occasional weekends, holidays evenings.

Full Wage Range: $16.66 to $19.00
Colonial Vista Senior Living is a large and vibrant senior living facility that offers both independent and assisted living residences across multiple buildings. As an Activities Assistant, you will work closely with the Activities Director in a supportive and creative environment, helping to plan and execute a variety of activities that enrich the lives of our residents.

You will be part of a dynamic team that includes the Activities Director, Dietary, Nursing, Maintenance, Housekeeping , and various staff members dedicated to providing the best care and experiences for our residents. Key Responsibilities: Foster a positive and supportive environment for all residents, assist the Director in set-up and wrap-up large events, Conduct casual 1:1 or small group activities for residents with mobility limitations or cognitive impairments, support in the organization and maintenance of the activities supplies, run errands and pick up supplies as needed. Communicate effectively with staff, residents and Director.
Qualifications: high school diploma or equivalent, previous experience working with Seniors in similar field, strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, basic proficiency with technology, patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to improve the quality of life for seniors.

Pay: $16.66 to $19.00 per hour depending on experience and education.
The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
